Testia continues to grow its activities in the Asia-Pacific region: The Hua-Ou training centre in Beijing will house NDT training and examination together with Testia, planned to start in spring 2025. This collaboration was arranged recently with the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) during the Airshow China in November 2024.

The new training program includes both theoretical and practical sessions according to the EN 4179 standard – planned under certification by both the British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing (BINDT) and the UK National Aerospace NDT Board. Thanks to Testia’s over 30 years of experience and expertise in non-destructive testing (NDT), the new training program is a significant milestone to support the growing demand for skilled professionals in China and the entire region.

Built on decades-long NDT experience

Hua-Ou Training Co. Ltd. is a joint venture between Airbus and China Aviation Supplies Holding Company (CAS) established 1997. As agreed in the newly signed MoU, Hua-Ou will be the first NDT training hub in China for Testia.

Testia has over 30 years of experience in aerostructure inspections and non-destructive testing. With its headquarters in Toulouse, France, and several sites around the globe, Testia is an end-to-end provider for structural integrity. Testia supports industrial players worldwide to meet EASA and FAA requirements for aerospace manufacturing, assembly, maintenance, repair and overhaul.

„We look forward to training a skilled NDT workforce that will contribute to the continuous development and safety of aerospace and related industries in China,“ says David Rottembourg, Testia CEO, „We are confident to meet the requirements of customers and will strive to exceed their expectations in our NDT training in China!“
